We have recently signed up to the National Tick Box campaign.
The campaign is a scheme across the Self-Storage industry that prevents facilities from being used for the storage of counterfeit or illicit goods.
The code of practice, ‘Tick Box: Keep it Real. Keep it Legal' was introduced by London Trading Standards Authorities in 2012.
We are demonstrating our commitment to working with trading standards by :
-Ensuring all staff are educated on Trading Standards and the code of practice
-Displaying the code of practice and information regarding the scheme for all clients and visitors to see
-Discuss the importance of the code of practice with customers before completion of booking
-Reporting any storage of illicit goods to Trading Standards
Our current processes are created to prohibit illegal or criminal activity and as part of the scheme, we will have regular contact with the local authorities to keep updated on training and regulatory requirements.
